Talk UX

Ladies That UX quickly grew from it’s Manchester roots into a huge global community with meet-ups taking place as far and wide as  San Francisco to Stockholm. In early 2015, they held their first UX conference at Manchester Town Hall.

Working on the identity for their first event was a great challenge. The theme of the day was ‘connection’, whether that is connecting with your end user or connecting with industry peers. The identity for the day was based around a 9-point dotted grid joined together by simple lines and shapes to represent the theme of connection. I have continued to work with Talk UX on their second conference in Georgia, Atlanta, pushing the theme of connection and developing the visual style to provide a fresh look for the 2016 event.

It was great to be involved in a project I have a huge passion and admiration for. Huge credit goes to Lizzie Dyson and Georgie Bottomley for all they’ve achieved.
